My heartfelt sympathies to her children and other relatives. I met Lily Ages and and her husband Mr. Anthonipillai a number of times when they were living in Jaffna during the most difficult times of the civil war amidst many challenges from 1989 to 1994. She is a very gracious person, and they were great hosts with a remarkable sense of hospitality, despite the many hardships that the Tamil population had to go through during those turbulent times in the 1990s in Jaffna. I have very cordial memories of meeting them and always cherished their hospitality and friendship. Assurances of my prayers and sympathies.
