My father late Cathirithamby Perampalam of Periamavady Chavakachcheri and Mr R T Subramaniam were friends and they had a teacher -student relationship. I came to know more of Mr R T Subramaniam when I was in charge of Tharmapuram hospital which I helped to open it to the public. Mr RTS was head master at Kalaveddithidal Tamil school, Kandawalai. I saw late Vethanayagi Nagalingam when I was studying at Chavakachcheri Hindu College in 1948 and before. I know Dr Nagalingam as a colleague. Mrs Vethanayagi had a happy long life My sincere condolences at her demise. May she rest in Lord Shivas feet. Dr C P Thiagarajah UK
