Saddened to hear the passing away of my longstanding dear friend. Our acquaintance is as far back as 1962 when we were at Peradeniya University. We lost touch for a few years until we met again in Guyana unexpectedly where both were employed by the Government of Guyana. He was a sincere friend who was always willing to help others. His amicable personality and radiant smile would lighten up anyone who meets him. This explains his success and achievements in the three continents he was employed. We renewed our friendship and were happy that our families were able to interact especially when we were far away from our motherland. He loved his family and lived his life for his beloved wife and his three adorable daughters. He will be greatly misses by his friends and family but surely not forgotten.
