Dr. Maligah Acca, only daughter to the late Kanagaratnam & Thavamanythevi. On behalf of my family, I want to say how sorry I feel to hear of your passing. Growing up you were like one of my sisters, a beautiful person. You had a smile when you spoke, and it was a pleasure when talking with you and being involved in extended family gatherings with you. I remember my mother Rajeswarydevi also loved seeing you and spending time with you. My wife Nanthini also became a good friend of you. While working in Jaffna between 1990 and 1995, your house was in front of our office in Thirunelvey. Nanthini and I would very often visit your home, and she got to know you very well. While we were in New Zealand, it was good to hear about the work you were doing for the Tamil community and the kovils in London. We saw a program on GTV where you had given a talk on health. It was a pleasure to visit you at your home in London in 2022 with my wife and son. You had welcomed us to your grand home. You had prepared a nice meal for us. You informed us about your sons and their families in London, told us about the foxes that visit your garden, and we also reconvened our old memories in Jaffna and Colombo. I would like to pass on my heartfelt condolences in this sorrowful time. May Lord Shiva provide comfort to you. My wife passed away last year, and I hope you get to see her in heaven and treat each other to nice food and talk about the fond memories of your families that remain in this world. OM Shanthi
