Dearest Periyappa, We are so saddened to hear about your passing. I met you twice when I visited Sri Lanka and both times you were very warm and kind hearted and I could feel the love in your presence. I am very fond of my appapa and you reminded me of him so much. I didn’t get to meet anyone else on appapa’s side so it was very special for me to meet you. Unfortunately, I missed you when you visited my parents home in Canada but I recently gave birth to a baby girl and was hoping for her to meet you when we visit Sri Lanka after the pandemic clears. Even though we only met a couple of times, you were very special to me and I’m grateful I met you. Rest In Peace Periyappa and you will never be forgotten ❤️.
