We, Rajan, Vicky and Indi were neighbors of the Thuraisingham family while at Chetty Street, Nallur. We practically grew up with the Thuraisingham children and have loving and fond memories of our childhood days with them. Mrs. Thuraisingham , the matriarch was a Loving and pleasant lady who always had a Smile and kind words to all of the neighborhood children. In her eyes, no child was bad and this showed in the way she brought up all her children who prospered and did exceptionally well in their adopted land. She was a very Strong, Honest and no-nonsense lady who would not put up with nonsense from anyone. Her dedication to her Family and Community endeared her to all who were fortunate enough to know and admire her. May her Soul Rest In Peace.
