Assi aunty was an excellent teacher and mentor in our family. She was an exceptional and gifted human being. In good times and bad, she never lost her capacity to smile and laugh, nor to inspire others with her warmth and kindness. We admired and respected her for her energy and commitment to others. We always had a lovely time together, whenever we visited Canada she entertained us with a smile and delicious cooking skills. Vini can recollect her childhood memories of Assi aunty taking her to the park, beaches and making her the special milk toffee. Assi aunty, you will be sorely missed and will be in our thoughts, hearts and prayers forever. May her soul rest in peace
