Thaaca was the most thoughtful, kind hearted and generous of aunties. I have many fond memories of her visits to us as young children - always paying attention to our likes and dislikes and gifting us accordingly. Even as adults we shared many fond moments together - the most recent when she joined us in March this year to visit Kathirgama temple; a trip that I will cherish for a lifetime. I was deeply saddened to hear about her passing and would like to express my heartfelt condolences to her children and grandchildren. She was a very special person - always cheerful and always compassionate. Thaacca will be dearly missed by us all - myself, my Amma (pooacca) and my sisters (Nanthini and Kiri). May her soul rest in peace.
