Dear friends, As you make your way to the Holy Rood Church to pay your last respects and prayers to our dear friend Sam, I will be going to Ilavalai St Anne's to be united with you all in prayer. I will be following the funeral proceedings from there on line. It is at this Church that Sam and some of us served Altar and participated in Church activities some 60 odd years ago. Born in a very religious family, Sam was named after the patron of the parishChurch Saint Anne as Santhanasamy. Being a boy they added S(w)amy to St Anne. I served in the Holy Rood parish for some months and Sam used visit me with Logan and Deva. I extend my prayerful sympathies to his children and his many friends. I have made it a habit to visit St Anne's Ilavalai to be united with families in spirit when a funeral takes place abroad. The last was at the during the funeral of our desr Brother Michael's (Abelpillai) May they all rest in peace. Fr T.E.Thevarajan.
