My loving mama, I only met you a few times but a few you meant a lot to my mum. The memories we shared was not enough so here is a poem for u to share my thanks for looking after my mum: I only had to see you once, By fate not by chance, My mum was excited to see you, I would have been to, Because to see your mother reconcile with her brother she had shared your childhood with is a scene to see. I only heard about the things you did, I didn't have to bid, To hear of your good deeds, You fulfilled my mums needs, Without any sign of hesitation, Infact your the true definition, Of the word brother. When I heard the news, My mum, Your siblings, My grandfather, Were all in the blue, It was the first time, To hear my mum cry painfully, I felt useless, I felt foolish, Because I could dp nothing but hear her wail in pain. I remembered the time, My cousin and I got locked out, We shouted for a long time, But soon we began to doubt, However you opened the door, Sorry for disturbing your sleep, But we came into the room with a grin, "Thank you mama, my saviour", was what I thought. You made a promise, With your siblings, You all were honest, But you all weren't kidding, For you all wanted to viait you father in Sri Lanka to surprise the man who raised you.
