I am at a loss for words to describe the immense grief you must be feeling. We’ve known Jeganathan uncle as family, but it wasn’t until we started university, with its campus located across from his family home, that we truly got to know him. We made it a habit to stop by during our free time between classes and work, and each time, Jeganathan uncle would greet us with his warm smile and offer us something to drink and eat. Just like our father, Jeganathan uncle would always remind us of the importance of education and would say, “Nalla paddi pilla.” He was such a genuine, wonderful soul, and his memory will live on in our hearts. Rest in peace, Jeganathan uncle. You will be deeply missed.
