My father Nagaratnam, and Dr. Ganeshanandan were contemporaries in the vet faculty and subsequently colleagues in the Department of Agriculture. They visited each other in Point Pedro, Colombo, Batticaloa, Toronto and London. We were fortunate to have enjoyed mama's and mami's hospitality in the UK about 10 years ago. My children were enthralled listening to Ganesh mama talk about their Patta, and of course watch him perform his tricks. We will cherish his memories.
