Dear Appa, It is very difficult to accept that you have passed away. Words fail me. I will miss you so much. I cannot imagine what Amma is going through right now. I could not have hoped for a better father. You were my role model, guide and mentor. I know that your many friends and relatives will miss you dearly as well. It was a privilege to be your son. In life you laughed and made everyone around laugh, you were loving with everyone especially to your grandchildren who will miss you dearly. Your friends and colleagues whose respect I know you had will miss you.
