I have had the great pleasure of knowing Aunty Savitri, and the Yoganathan family for years. I have also got to know some of her extended family and all the respective spouses of her children, and know some of her grand children too. To all of you my deepest sympathies on her passing. Aunty as I fondly called her was a soft spoken person, full of wisdom for anyone who cared to listen. She was there on the day of my wedding with words of wisdom, and that sparkle in her eye. She's watched me over the years and has been there when ever I needed a word of wisdom. To all of her children and grand children whom she loved dearly , I say the following words, from a poem I heard. - Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there, I did not Aunty Savitri lives on in your hearts forever.
