With profound sadness, we write this note. Words can’t express the privileged feeling we have experienced knowing Dr. Selvakone and Mrs. Sathyam and their family. Their long lasting friendship, guidance, hospitality, advice and above all, their affection towards our family is truly priceless. Sathyam aunty had been a mother and friend figure for us. We have had numerous conversations and enjoyed every one of them, every time admiring her intelligence and wisdom. We always sought her blessings for protection. We will never encounter such a kind and generous soul in this world again. The life lived by Dr. Selvakone and Mrs. Sathyam have always shown us a path to follow. Even recently, in our conversations during final stages, in the midst of sorrows, Sathyam aunty expressed a sense of completion of her worldly duties and was ready to embark on a journey into the other world. She clearly demonstrated the courageous path that we all have to embrace when our time comes. We pray for her restful peace in the heavenly abode. Our condolences to all her family members.
