I knew Sathasivam as Pasky. We met on the Rotary Peace and Conflict Studies Program in Bangkok, Thailand in 2008. I had the privilege of clowning with him in a refugee camp in southern Thailand where we entertained children and walked through the refugee camp. He played drums and played. He clowned with me at the Camillian HIV Centre to help me show others to not fear touching those with HIV. Our connection was as fellow artists. He had an incredibly kind heart. He was a true doctor and healer. I met a Sri Lankan lady the other day and told her about my friend Pasky who taught me about Sri Lanka and how caring the people are.
