Our Dearest Ammama, To the strongest woman I know and love, thank you for all your love, energy and blessings over my life. You have always given me the right advice in life, pushed me to complete my studies, told me stay strong when I found life tough and inspired me to follow my journey to medicine. I remember your love of learning, always with an inspiring quote, your earnest interest to learn Deutsch and asking me to bring my German dictionaries so we could learn together. Your laugh still echos in my head and your smile that lights up a room remains in my heart. Your dedication to Thatha, eating healthy, staying active, keeping an enquiring mind show how wise you always were beyond your years! You had an ear for beautiful music and excellent taste in songs and I can hear you singing proudly and happily still now. Ram and I were blessed to have your presence at our wedding and I’ll never forget seeing your smile and happiness from the stage. Our daughter was blessed to see you and squeeze your hand - generations spanning years meeting for a special moment. Your legacy remains in your children, grand children and great grandchildren who carry your lessons, love and strength forward in life. We love you Ammama and may you rest in peace.
