Along with my classmates at Jaffna Central College (class of 12B - 1972) I was shocked to hear the loss of our beloved Satha who was the 'baby' (youngest) of our class and we had a wonderful few years at the Advanced Level - the best years of our school lives and the life long friendships we forged. Satha was ever smiling, kind, friendly and jovial. His permanent smile is unforgettable. After we all scattered around the globe we all reunited again with as parents and grandparents and met twice in Sri Lanka and as recently as 2023 and met his lifelong partner Usha. We had wonderful reunion, sharing all stories and beautiful memories which will stay in our hearts till its time for us to go. Who amongst us would have thought Satha would be gone so soon? it is an unbelievable news to all his classmates and friends. May his soul rest in peace.
