Dearest Danicias family, Words cannot express the sorrow my family & I feel at the sudden passing of my dearest friend, class mate and athletics running partner Danicias. Even though we were separated by fate for so many years, my love and concern for him never changed. Even my children knew him by name even though they never met him because of the stories I used to tell them when they were small about our friendship back in Jaffna. They feel the pain too. After many years, I was finally able to talk to him a few months ago and it seemed like we never left each other. He was a loving friend, a gentle soul with a big heart. I would like to convey our deepest sympathy for his wife & children and to the rest of his family. May God comfort and strengthen them at this most difficult time.
