Although lot of water has passed under the bridge, and a good decade is gone, the memories of Rathy did not fade. We still remember well the many trips we made to Toronto and particularly the last trip in September 2012 to attend a wedding. Each trip would start with a trip to "the Marckam Fish Store" to buy "a particular fish" which she could cook very well and attract more visitors like-Jeya, who would drop by to taste her fish curry. It is not simply her cooking, but her intense focus on whatever she undertook and the care of the the children were remarkable. It was unfortunate for us to lose her at a young age and a friend of the larger community. Rathy is well remembered by her friends and relatives. May her soul rest in peace.
