I came to know Vicky while we were students at the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok. He was a Tamil from Srilanka and I am a Tamil from India. Vicky became a good friend visiting our apartment often and we had long conversations and played card games. His sweet temperament, distinguished conduct, polite manners and smiling face endeared him to many. I am glad I came to know this great human being though our interaction was limited to the period we were at AIT. Coming to find that he has passed way is causing immense sadness. To his family I convey my deepest condolences and pray that their pain will be subdued in the knowledge that his early departure was for a reason that only our Creator would know and that it would be for a good reason. Let the memories of him always comfort you.
