We are very sad to hear our beloved Kanagaratnam Sir has passed away. He is a proud gentleman of Naranthanai and Jaffna College. A quiet, soft spoken, pleasant man with a charming smile and he was very well liked by all at Naranthanai. Most of the time, he has gone out of way to help number of people from our village. Kanagaratnam Sir helped our family immensely which is unforgettable and where we are today is partly because of his help and blessings. He found admissions for Advanced level classes for both my sisters at Vambadi Girls High School and for my brother and I at Jaffna College Undergraduate departments. Because of his help all four of us qualified as professionals and we are ever indebted to him. He is a kind hearted gentleman ever willing to help others. We will greatly miss him.
