The tyranny of great distances has prevented us from visiting relatives. We remember the past when relatives lived close by and we enjoyed their company. My mother depended on Kandiah Appa and Arunthathy Appachchi for help and advice. I owe a great deal to Pushparatnam Maami for tutoring me. May she rest in peace. May her near and dear one's find solace in their memories and their faith. Sotheeswaran
