I was her student at Mawatte Tamil School Narahenpita, colombo 05 in 1975 & taught us very methodically about Tamil Language and, as result of that today I could write and properly speak in Tamil in any forum. Also she was very fond of me, as I wrote essay and other things very nicely and appreciated me very much in the school. it is my bad luck that i couldn't meet her can't come to pay my last respect her as I underwent for a surgical operation last month. Further she did a lot along with the principle for many students who left from this small evening school to other schools for AL studies. She was like a kind spoken,very keen in teaching Tamil Language. I can say that she lived for the Language of Tamil. I am sure that that god will give again a good life to serve the Tamil Language.
