Mrs. Parameswary Nagaratnam, who was born on December 13, 1928 in Nallur, Jaffna and a long-time resident of Colombo, Sri Lanka and Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026.

Cherished daughter of late Sivapakiam Thambiah and late Nagamuthu Dharmalingam, and beloved wife of late Vallipuram Nagaratnam.

Loving mother of Nilani, Nandakumar, and Vatsala and beloved mother-in-law of Mahendran, late Sivaganga, and Sivakumaran.

Caring grandmother of Pradap, Nimisha, Kaavya (Steele), and Shaktikan, and great grandmother of Dahlia, and Hugo.

Beloved sister of late Balasingam (late Arunthathy), late Dr. Mahadevan (Irene), late Devarajan (late Dr. Yogeswari), late Dharmawathy (late Balasubramaniam), Vamadevan (Saras), Panchalingam (Poorani), late Sabadevan (Rajini), and Dr. Ramadas (Dr. Gnanambigai), and a beloved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews.
