Nicholas once told me he would do anything for his son, my best friend Ryan. I distinctly remember the adoration that poured through his eyes and words when telling me all about Ryan. It was apparent from the moment that I met him that he was a truly loving father and a well spirited man. He said Ryan could ask him for anything in the whole world and he would do all he could to make it happen “even a Ferrari” he jested. He had the most wonderful sense of humour although you could tell he meant that. He said I ought to call him annah not uncle joking that he’s not old enough to be called uncle just yet. His untimely passing has deeply saddened and taken us all by surprise. May his spirit rest peacefully in the heavens above. His memory to me will forever be that of the very pinnacle of what it means to be a loving father.
