Shanti welcomed me into the family home in Zambia and cared for me like a daughter during the time I lived with the family. Later, he also cared for my own family when we were living in Zambia. His kindness, generosity, and gentle nature are memories I will always hold close to my heart. I take comfort in knowing that he lived a full and happy life, raised three wonderful children, and cared so lovingly for my sister.
