Taking part in the grief over the passing of our beloved brother Shanthi is both unexpected and a deeply shocking experience. The dedicated service rendered by his parents to the fields of Justice and Education will be remembered by society for generations to come. The relationship shared between our parents and Shanthi’s parents is one that time can never erase. It is because of that enduring bond that the same relationship has continued among the children as well. He was not a person who merely listened to the cries of the poor and needy and walked away; rather, he was someone who sought immediate solutions to their needs. No matter how high a position he attained in life, he never forgot the village where he was born and raised, and he always carried a deep love for it.
