Hi, I want to start off by saying I'm sorry I didn't make an effort in your last moments. If I had known and been updated properly about you, it would've been so much easier to let go of all the thoughts and expectations I had. Like seeing you introduce your wife to the wider family, hear about you having a kid or two, waiting to see what you look like with grey hair or possible baldness! I'll never forget the cheeky shy dimpled smile from you, you being chased around by my brother Jesi because you picked on him so much, seeing you carry your miruthangam from Sunday school outside my old house, playing blindfold with our cousins, you showing me a dead bird teaching me about "life and death" you weirdo, our spats and fights we had trying to annoy each other, and you doing the "gangster walk" when it more of a penguin waddle because you were that big! You will never know how proud I am of you for even settling down with a job that you love, which was driving, and committing your to the love of your life, even though the marriage only lived for the last six weeks of your life. I'm so proud of you for living your life to the fullest, no matter how tough life was for you growing up. I'm so proud of you for not letting anyone tell you what to do, because your life was full of stories and adventures that only people like me would ever dream of daring to do. You had guts, courage, a backbone, intelligence, your spontaneity, consideration and abundance of care in your heart to not let anyone down. You lived your life as young, as wild and as free as you could. You rode young and died young. I've learnt a lesson for you. I've learnt that life is too short to wait for validations from other people. So I'm going to try my hardest in living my life to the fullest, and putting my mind at rest leaving you in peace.
