உயர்ஸ்தானிகர் மேன்மை மிகு ஷானி கல்யாணிரட்ன, பிறைடி சின்னையா, மனோரஞ்சி சின்னையா ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மாமியாரும்,

லெமுவல் தனுஷன்(புரூணை), பெலீஷியா தனுஷயந்தி(புரூணை) ஆகியோரின் பிரியமிகு பேத்தியும்,

காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான மேரி ஜெர்மைன் பெர்டினண்ட்(அரியமலர்- அவுஸ்திரேலியா), மேரி மக்டலின் மரியநாயகம் (அற்புதமலர் – Luxembourg) ஆகியோரின் இணைபிரியாச் சகோதரியும் ஆவார்.

அன்னாரின் புனித ஆராதனைத் திருப்பலி 11-09-2023 திங்கட்கிழமை அன்று மு.ப 09.00 மணியளவில் புரூணை Our Lady of Assumption கத்தோலிக்க தேவாலயத்தில் நடைபெறும். அஸ்திக்கான ஆராதனையும் நல்லடக்க நிகழ்வுக்குமான திகதியும் பற்றிய விபரம் பின்னர் அறியத்தரப்படும்.

Mrs Mary Philomena Chinniah was born in Chundikuli Temple Road, Jaffna and Lived in Chundikuli, Jaffna and Colombo, Srilanka and Brunei and passed away peacefully on 3rd September 2023.

Loving daughter of the late Savarimuttu (Araavi) and Rasammah Soosaipillai.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph MacFarlane Chinniah.

Ever loving mother of the late Ambassador H.E. Clarence Felician Chinniah, Andrew Graetian Chinniah (UK), Albert Luxman Chinniah (UK), Prof Terrence Rohan Chinniah (Brunei) and Vallipuram Vallipillai.

Mother-in-law of Ambassador H.E.Shani Calyaneratne , Bridie Chinniah (UK) and Manoranji Chinniah, (Brunei),

Beloved grandmother of Lemuel Dhanushan (Brunei) and Felicia Dhanushayanthy (Brunei),

Sister of the late Mary Germanie Ferdinand (Ariyamalar) (Australia) and the late Mary Magdalene Mariyanayagam (Atputhamalar) (Luxembourg).

Funeral service celebrating the life of this strong, kind and gracious matriarch will be held at Our Lady of Assumption, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei at 9.00 am on 11th September 2023 prior to cremation. Dates and details of memorial services in Colombo and Jaffna, Sri Lanka and interment of ashes will be notified later.
