I was his student in Zoology in the Advanced Level classes in 1965 and 1966 at the Jaffna Hindu College. He was an excellent teacher. He was well known in Jaffna schools because of his ability to get good results in University admissions by teaching his ZOOLOGY students at the St. John's College, Jaffna. Students in Jaffna Hindu College(JHC) were delighted when he got transferred to the JHC from the St. John's College, Jaffna. He produced good results in JHC too continuously until his retirement. All the staff and students in the JHC liked him a lot. My deepest sympathies to his family, friends and all the staff and students of Jaffna Hindu College.
