I’m very sad at the loss of my father-in-law, uncle Manickavasagar. I was lucky to have spent a lot of time with uncle, watching him first-hand, doing the great work he did to improve the lives of the Sri-Lankan refugees in India. During my times with him I learnt so much, in particular how to stand tall and resilient in the face of hardships. His gentle and soft nature, combined with his compassion, generosity and kindness made him a very popular and trusted person among those he served and beyond. Thank you, uncle, for welcoming me into your family and for always being there. I’ll dearly miss you. May your soul rest in peace.
