Selva I met you in 1992 Steel design course in Newcastle and you showed genuine warmth and invited us to you home in Marton Middlesborough and introduced your close friends in the region. Your friendship with everyone of us lasted till your death. I followed your footsteps in many instances lived in Batticaloa, studied at Ampara Hardy and Teesside University and practiced Civil Engineering to mention a few. You never missed a special occasion, you always showed up showing solidarity with your friends and relatives. You were up to date with news and events and solid understanding of finances and gave free financial advice to many. During lockdown you engaged with us via daily WhatsApp quizzes, like a school headmaster you moderated and awarded scores for our answers.. I was privileged to meet you on 4 occasions in the past two months and this made it even harder to come to terms with the loss. You were calm and collective about anything you faced and you adored your children and grandchildren. You were always thinking about your children and they are going to experience the biggest loss. You were a role model for many and you would no doubt be missed by all of us. May your soul rest in peace,
Dearest Rani acca, Jennifer,David and families, Selva loss is deeply felt by us all. His love of life, good food and for family, his ability to find joy and have a good laugh and the many moments...
