Our friendship is more than fifty years old which started at Palaly Teacher's College in 1970. Since then we have been in each other's lives. Even after he left for Nigeria we had been in touch. We drew much closer after he settled in Montreal. During our first visit to him in Montreal, surprisingly he took pride in being our "tour guide" to St. Joseph's church. He had a gleaming personality. His strong embodiment of values are evident in his dear wife and three sons whom he has left behind. Helping others especially his relatives when in need was his priority. Our phone calls reminiscing our family gettogethers, student field trips, and other fond memories kept us going. He would call me up if I didn't call him. He has been my link to old friends and students. I am going to miss him especially his emails with news, health tips, and humorous anecdotes. I am deeply shocked and saddened by the passing away of my dear friend. He will be remembered forever. May his soul rest in peace.
