It is with great sadness I'm sending this message on behalf of my family. Manmathan was a very popular, kind hearted, very good at giving advice and ever ready to give an helping hand when needed. Manmathan excelled in his studies, sports and extracurricular activities at St Patrick's College, Jaffna. He was an ardent supporter of his beloved Alma Mater. He was also very popular individual among the Srilankan Tamil Community. Manmathan will try to be there for all occassions, whether they were happy or sad. His charisma is such, he was able to make friends very easily, even if he didn't know them before, he will go out of his way to do so. Remenising during my college days, there was one particular incident which l vividly remember, l was taking part at the same JSSA Meet at Jaffna College, where Manmathan was doing senior shot-put, and l was running the 2nd lap 4x100m juvenile relay. l pulled my hamstring after l handed the baton, l was in so much pain, Manmathan rushed to scene and carried me by himself to the pavilion. This was Manmathan. He knows this incident and I've mentioned to him many times too. l shall cherish this for ever. MANMATHAN ANNA, you have run your race victoriously, now you can have a well deserved rest with our Lord May your soul rest in eternal peace ✝️🙏🏻
