Periappa you were there for me in my happiness and during my hardtimes, specially the period I lived in Colombo. It is hard to make people happy at the same time carrying out your duties. The duties whether you were asked by someone or you voluntarily took responsible for are not always the enjoyable or easy ones. It is most of the time complicated and at times beared a good amount of conflicts. Your positiveness, patience, wisdom, lack of laziness made almost every thing possible for you. Of course you are very diplomatic but not discriminating . Whenever I remember you , your face comes smiling. Even your last days you did not show any agony , irritation, but tried to smile whenever you could. May your great soul rest in peace.
