Mr Satkunam will be missed terribly by the CANE-UK charity ( Cancer Aid North/ East Srilanka) Directors and the beneficiaries ,staff and patients of this Palliative Care centre in Marudhanamadam , Jaffna He was very passionate about helping the cancer sufferers and gave his utmost support to sustain this much needed service in the North / East . He was involved with the organization for over 25 years. He played an important role in the fundraising for the construction of the Hospice and also in finding regular, monthly donors to maintain the Hospice He was a great friend to many of us. He inspired us all with his gentlemanly approach, spirit , charisma , spirit and wisdom.
