Rest in Peace Pappu, I am deeply shocked hearing about the demise of Mr.Emmanuvel Devanayagam, whom I fondly call Pappu, who had been my father and mother. I couldn’t stop my memories running back to 35 years ago. After my mother and father passed away uncle became my mother and father my Guardian Angel… It’s not easy for me to get over the pain and sadness of the parting away of uncle who took me into his home during the Sillalai- Pandatherippu displacements in 1992, and fulfilled all the fatherly responsibilities from finding me a job as a pre-school teacher to getting Rev.Surendran as my beloved husband. Uncle had been my guardian angel always and loved my children as his grandchildren. The emptiness by his demise; I can feel that to be unfilled forever. Pappu, like you cared and looked after others, May God protect you in HIS house and give you eternal life. We will continue to pray for your eternal peace. May God grant peace and comfort to aunty, children and their beloved families who are in deep sorrow by your departure.
