In Loving Memory of Dharmalingam Jeyanandan's 5th Year Remembrance.
Five years have passed since you've gone,
Yet in my heart, you still live on.
The seasons change, the world spins round,
But in my memories, you're always found.
I hear your laughter in the breeze,
See your smile in autumn leaves,
Feel your presence in the quiet dawn,
Though five long years have come and gone.
Time, they said, would ease the pain,
And though it's true, love will remain—
A constant flame that never dies.
You taught me strength, you taught me grace,
No one could ever take your place.
The lessons learned, the wisdom shared,
Continue on in how I've cared.
Some days are harder than the rest,
When grief sits heavy on my chest,
But then I feel you standing near,
Whispering, "I'm always here."
Five years may seem so long ago,
But a your's love will always grow—
Beyond the boundaries of time and space,
Until we meet again, face to face.
So on this day, I pause to say:
I miss you more with each new day,
But grateful for the years we had,
Forever loved wife.
