It was with deep sorrow that we heard that Bala had passed away. It was indeed the closing of the final chapter in the story of a Person who was so vibrant in life, an extrovert and yet very traditional in thinking. We remember Bala as one who was selfless, always ready to help anyone who needed assistance even though it may have been of inconvenience to him. He was affable, genial and convivial at all times. May His Soul rest at the feet of our Lord Shiva.
