It is with deep sense of sadness that we learnt the demise of our loving and sincere friend Mr.B.J.Vincent . I had the privilege to closely associate with Mr. Vincent and his family members, namely his loving wife Pearly, sons Emil, Fr. Neil and Thissil for long years. They all were a loveable bunch of persons. I first met Vincent in 1959, on my transfer from Foreign Department Colombo to The Banks of Ceylon's Jaffna Branch. We both got happily married on the same date in August 1962. Vincent and Pearly who were blessed with 3 lovely sons were very worried and felt that they were not very fortunate like me who to have 3 daughters, as such Vincent showed his affection to my kids as and when our families get together. On many an occasions of my visit to Sri Lanka, I made it a point to visit him along with my family and would share cement our old friendship and love. He was a man of simplicity, generosity and endowed with good human qualities. By his simplicity , depth of knowledge, dedication and being efficient in his performance in all Banking matters, got him elevated to the position of Assistant General Manger of a leading Bank in Sri Lanka. He has passed away peacefully in his sleep to the call of the almighty and we have lost a sincere friend who will be always remembered. We offer his grieving three sons and their family members our heart felt condolences. May the Lord give them strength to bear their irreparable loss. May his Soul Rest In Peace. From: Mr.& Mrs.Ratnasothy and family members
