Eulogy There is a saying that when an elder dies, it is like the burning of a library. As SPC AA Colombo, the well from which we quenched our thirst, has dried. Dear Vincent we will miss your determination to our organization and your dedication, your humbleness, your infectious smile and most of all your love for our AA We would like to express our sincerest condolencepppps more especially to the  Vincent family for the loss such a dear a father and grandfather The SPC AA Colombo is still in shock and battling to come to terms with this loss. Mr. Vincent has always been part of our AA. He served as President of our AA also when we celebrated our century year, global reunion, issuing  stamp in commemorating 150 years of our Alma-mater he was leading us in many ways, his leadership and wisdom has always propelled our AA to where it is today. Even though he was retired recently on health grounds, he continued to serve the AA as a Vice Patron with total dedication He may no longer be with us physically but his deeds will always remain with us. We may weep in mourning but we should rejoice when we think of his legacy. Let us celebrate this humble teacher, leader, soft spoken  but firm minded genuine advisor, a demonstrated democratic who shared his life with us. His leadership qualities and wisdom shaped our AA  to what it is today May his soul rest in peace with the creator. An irreplaceable loss to us. One of my role models and in the year 2013, he was one of the persons who persuaded me to take up the position of President at our AA before my proper time on the ground of crisis situation and I agreed with his far-sighted wisdom It was through the visionary leadership of people like Vincent we are having a strong association and could take a leap of faith and be part of the perpetual fund for SPC. Yes today we have a strong financial base for our Alma-mater as perpetual fund. My heartfelt sympathy is with you all. May his soul rest in peace. With inner sorrow,
