It is today I came to know of the passing away of Mr B.J. Vincent. I enjoyed working with him when he was in the Bank of Ceylon's Inspection Department and I was a legal officer in the Legal Department. The memories about his assistance in legal matters are still fresh in my mind, although I lost contact with him for the last 34 years as I have been away from Sri Lanka. I totally agree with what is described of him in the obituary notice as "a humble, honest, hard working, extremely generous, kind and intelligent man, whose selfless generosity knew no bounds." May his soul rest in peace with God.
