Baba was my Akka, but beyond that she was a second mother to myself and my siblings. Though life took us down separate paths, I will be forever grateful for the memories I have embedded within me. From a young age, after the passing of our father, Baba began taking care of our family. As the eldest, she took it in stride and never stopped working hard for and taking care of the people she loved. I have great respect for the life she led and pray that she is now at peace and reunited with Appa and Amma.
