My dear Pushpam Aunty and Geetha, Dushy and I will miss Benny Uncle’s regular letters to us, always with intellectual, cerebral stuff. My regret is that by the time I married into your family your sons/brothers had gone abroad and our meetings were when we came to Canada. We took comfort in being in touch with Selvam Uncle and Savundram Uncle (whose son Anton still keeps in touch). A good Samaritan – Benny Uncle escorted Dushy on a pilgrimage to Israel and was always looking out for the elderly in the party by getting them jeep-like taxis near Petra.
