Pappa was so much more than a grandfather to me, he was my second parent, my role model, and my greatest teacher. With my parents working full-time, it was Pappa who raised me day to day. He took me to school, took me to the park, made sure I was fed and clothed. He taught me right from wrong, passed down his values, and shaped the person I am today. He had this laugh, that can change any dull moment. His love for my grandma was the type of love you could only dream of. Every life lesson, every moment of guidance, every quiet act of love, he gave so much without ever asking for anything in return. I carry his words, his humor, and his heart with me every single day.
