Bala was my dear friend for more than 40 years since first I was introduced to him as one of my new clients when I worked for Texaco/Star Service Stations/Stations Supreme. Over the following years, we became close friends and I valued his companionship and his advice. When I needed someone to drive me to purchase a new home, it was Bala that would not take no for an answer and made me go with him to look at properties. We had many fun times on the Golf course over the years and when I returned to England from Alaska I would always make sure that we met.
