We missed a good Soul , a Humanitarian Leader Late Dr. Vivekananthan who was working with us at the Dept. Of Agriculture ( In charge of the Northern Province , Regional Research Center Killinochchi at a very difficult time and proved him as a Dedicated honest and a strong Leader to all staff work under him. After his retirement he was working for United Nation Food and Agriculture Organization and incharge of the Northern Region for few years until he settled at his residence in Jaffna. I had a chance in Coordinate with him at the regional Technical working Group as secretary where he was the Chairman during the period 1990s. He is so nice soft spoken person who used to give best solutions for problems in the Research, Extension and Training related matters.
