I am going to miss Selva his smile, his caring nature , down to earth personality , his charity mind and kindness . Sometimes we need to accept God take good people fast to keep with him. We are sad and feel the emptiness because, that is the impact he made and only very few can do that in life . He left a legacy and took all the richness of appreciation and the blessings with him. His life is a good reminder how we need to share and care for people. Selva created a big wealth with God by helping the poor, friends, relatives ,church, schools and many community organizations. When it comes to helping people Selva never said no. Beautiful soul enjoying now more time with God and left all of us in deep sorrow. Selva three years junior to me in school at St. John’s college Jaffna but our friendship continued and my last communication with him on February 15th 2021, that he sent me a message wishing my family a happy family day even, in that sickness he cared about his friends. His beautiful spirit will live on through his children, and they will always know how much he loved them. he tried with all his heart to stay for them, but God called him, and he had to go. During my friend’s illness, I know that there were two things that kept him going, his family and hope, otherwise to face another day would have been tough, and I know how many days he must have had like that. Now my hope is that he rest in peace knowing he did all that he could and that his family will be fine. When we love people it’s so comforting to know that they will always be with us in our hearts.
