Our heartfelt condolences to his friends and family. May he rest in eternal peace. We met for the first time in Diyatalawa, Sri Lanka, in 1965. We were both undergoing education and training in Surveying sciences at the Institute of Surveying & Mapping. Thereafter, we maintained contact while we worked in the Department of Surveying. We went our separate ways due to the racial upheaval and fighting that went on at the time. He left for Nigeria I to Malaysia. We finally met again in Ontario, Canada, in the 1990s and remained in contact until his demise. He was a good man and had good friends around him. He is a jovial character and is very helpful to those in need. Since his son's untimely demise, he was heartbroken, and his health went downhill. Wiggi, you lived well and kept high standards throughout your life. We will miss you. Rest in eternal peace.
